Flights from Kaohsiung (KHH) to Seoul (ICN)

Flight route information

Cathay Pacific offers flights to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) from Kaohsiung Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (KHH), with a layover in Hong Kong. Flights from KHH to ICN take around 6 hours 15 minutes, including the layover, and bring you to Terminal 1 in Seoul.

Upon your arrival in Seoul

There are three main transportation options available at Incheon International (ICN) which will bring you into Seoul’s city centre. The most convenient option is by taxi, taking around 60 minutes and available from just outside the airport. There’s also a City Limousine Bus, which departs from the airport every 25 minutes and takes 70 minutes, and the AREX (Airport Railroad Express) train, which takes just under an hour.

A brief introduction to Seoul, South Korea

South Korea’s beating heart, Seoul is an Asian megacity that seamlessly fuses the old and new at every corner.

Start your trip by exploring some of Seoul’s ancient history. We recommend starting at the centrally-located Jongno district, where you can find the UNESCO site of Changdeokgung Palace, as well as the royal Gyeongbokgung Palace. Both attractions are centuries old, and give fascinating insight into the Joseon Dynasty.

Only a few minutes’ walk away, you can find the traditional village of Bukchon Hanok. Here, you will find picturesque alleyways and authentic street markets serving traditional Korean cuisine. Be sure to sample some local favourites such as stir-fried seafood, “kimbap” rice rolls, and rice wine.

Seoul is also renowned for its world class museums, two of the most popular being The National Museum of Korea and The War Memorial of Korea.

To experience Seoul’s beautiful nature, take a leisurely stroll through Namsan Mountain Park - the largest park in the entire city. The park features beautiful walking trails, local wildlife, and hosts a number of events year round.
