The building's exterior is a faithful recreation of a rich 19th-century residence, modelled after an 1850s Binondo house. Inside, the luxury is evident in the sophisticated combination of European and Chinese furniture, accented by gilded details, elaborately painted walls, and sparkling crystal chandeliers. A tour of the house guides visitors through each preserved room, highlighting its original function: the Zaguan is the stone-paved entrance; the Patio is the cool, traditional central courtyard; the Entresuelo (mezzanine) served as the family's office and included bedrooms; the Caida (ante-room) was mainly used for receiving travellers; the Grand Sala (main hall) was the venue for major social gatherings; the Oratorio was a small chapel displaying intricate religious carvings; and the Comedor (dining room) was the space where the family proudly showcased their fine collections of crystal and silverware.
