The Eater World’s Fare Cathay Taste of Asia Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law, or other requirements have not been met. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH GOVERN YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. YOU ALSO REPRESENT THAT YOU MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW.
1. Eligibility Requirements. The Sweepstakes is open to individuals legally residing in the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, aged 18 or older, who meet their jurisdiction’s minimum age requirement (“Entrant”). Officers, employees, agents, and immediate family and household members of Sponsor, Sweepstakes Partner, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone professionally associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible. Winner will be required to furnish proof of identity, address, and age to receive a prize.
2. Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes begins on July 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM Eastern Daylight Savings Time (“EDT”) and ends on July 20, 2026 at 10:00 PM EDT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries received prior to or following the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
3. Entry. To enter the Sweepstakes, (i) Visit the Cathay Taste of Asia Booth or the VIP Cathay Lounge at the Eater World’s Fare located at Pier 36, 299 South Street, New York, NY during the Sweepstakes Period (admission to the Cathay Taste of Asia Booth and the VIP Cathay Lounge are FREE); (ii) Sign up to become a Cathay Member for FREE; (iii) Take a photo of yourself either in the Cathay Taste of Asia Booth or the VIP Cathay Lounge (“Photo”); (iv) Post the Photo to your Instagram Story or TikTok Story or Infeed Page; and (v) Tag @Cathay Pacific on Instagram or Tag @Cathay Pacific on TikTok and include the hashtag #GatewaytoAsiaGiveaway (i, ii, iii, iv and v, individually defined as “Entry” and collectively defined as “Entries”). The hashtag #GatewaytoAsiaGiveaway and tagging @Cathay Pacific either on Instagram or TikTok are required for entry. Any Entry that does not include the designated hashtag and tagging @Cathay Pacific on Instagram or TikTok will be disqualified.
If the Photo or Entry features any person other than the Entrant, Entrant must ensure that such person is informed that the material may be used for the purposes of this Sweepstakes and obtain their consent to such use (or if such person is a minor, the consent of their parent or guardian). Sponsor may ask for evidence of any such consent and reserves the right to disqualify any Entry if such evidence is not provided or if Sponsor has reasonable doubts about its adequacy.
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOUR ENTRY MATERIALS, AS DEFINED ABOVE, MAY BE INCLUDED IN SPONSOR’S COMMERCIAL MATERIAL IN ANY MEDIA, INCLUDING SPONSOR’S WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. The use of an Entry by Sponsor or any Sweepstakes Entity does not have any effect on the winner selection process.
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, or TikTok. By submitting an Entry, you understand that you are submitting your information to Sponsor. By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant (as defined below) waives, discharges and releases Instagram and TikTok from any and all liability associated with the Sweepstakes. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to Sponsor and not to Instagram or TikTok. Sponsor has no obligation to use or post any Entry submitted by any Entrant.
All Entries become property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned and the Sponsor has the right to dispose of the Entries at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, mutilated or mechanically reproduced Entries or Entries that have been tampered with or not obtained through legitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for Entries or Entries that are processed late or are lost, stolen or deleted due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. Mechanically reproduced Entries or Entries generated or submitted with the use of a robotic, automated, macro, or script device, or other automated means or any other means intended to impact the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’ sole discretion may be disqualified. Use of automated entry or similar devices as defined herein but not limited to, aggregator sites and or provided links, or contracted services, which are used to participate, “game” or subvert the Entry process is prohibited and all postings submitted or otherwise effectuated through such devices are void and will not be honored in any way. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, fraudulent activity of any kind, disruption or damage will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. By submitting an Entry, each Entrant agrees to abide by the terms of these Official Rules. Sponsor will not assume responsibility for any third party’s failure to act in accordance with its instructions pertaining to Sweepstakes implementation.
Use of AI, automated entry or similar devices as defined herein but not limited to, aggregator sites and or provided links, or contracted services, which are used to participate, “game” or subvert the Entry process is prohibited and all postings submitted or otherwise effectuated through such devices are void and will not be honored in any way.
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS: Entries may not contain, as determined by Sponsor’s sole discretion, any Entry that:
•Include lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, obscene, non-family-friendly, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; and/or Entries that otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material may not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
•Promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group, individual, or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
•Promotes irresponsible or excessive consumption of alcohol; promotes illegal drugs or the use of legal cannabis or psilocybin mushrooms, tobacco, firearms/weapons/ammunition, gambling, pornography, or any particular political agenda or message;
•Defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about companies or organizations;
•Contains trademarks, trade names or copyrighted materials owned by others, except those owned by Sponsor for which Sponsor has provided Entrant a limited license to use as it relates to this Sweepstakes;
•Communicates messages inconsistent with the goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate;
•Contains competitive products of Sponsor; and/or
•Violates any law or infringes upon rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity, intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement of any other person, company or organization.
•Contain any viruses, spyware, malware or other malicious components that are designed to harm the functionality of a computer in any way may not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
Entry may not have won a previous award, prize or Sweepstakes; may not have been published previously; and the use of the Entry by Sponsor as outlined herein must not infringe upon any other person’s rights. Entries that include any of the Entry Restrictions stated herein will be disqualified.
Company names, trademarks and/or logos other than those owned by Sponsor, artwork, other copyrighted materials (collectively, “Third Party Intellectual Property”) may not be included in any Entry submitted. Any Entry submitted that includes any Third-Party Intellectual Property (example: Entrant is wearing branded merchandise with a proprietary brand logo) may be disqualified if such use is deemed inappropriate, impermissible or illegal, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified.
By submitting an Entry, each Entrant: 1) irrevocably grants Sponsor a royalty-free exclusive license throughout the world to use, re-use, copy, publish, republish in whole or in part, edit, add to, modify, and rearrange the Entry in whatever media, including without limitation edit, rearrange, and/or copy the Entry for use in the promotion of Sponsor’s products and services, without further permission, consideration or payment to the Entrant, except where prohibited; 2) warrants and represents that, the Entry is entirely the original creation/work of the Entrant and that use of the Entry as described herein will not violate any law or infringe upon the rights, title, claim or interest of any third party; and 3) certifies that the Entrant is the creator and sole copyright owner of the Entry.
Sponsor and its parent and the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any problems or technical, hardware, or software malfunctions of any network or telephone lines, failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer or other electronic equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or Entry to be received by the Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion, unavailable network connections on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other electronic device relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or uploading/downloading any materials in connection with this Sweepstakes.
Use of a mobile device to participate in this Sweepstakes is not required. If you use a mobile device to post an Entry, message and data rates may apply, and Entrants will be solely responsible for any and all applicable charges. DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT: Once an Entry is submitted into the Sweepstakes, any such posting will be deemed made at the direction of the Entrant within the meaning of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the Communications Decency Act. EACH ENTRANT REPRESENTS, UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE WILL NOT BE PAID FOR OR RECEIVE ANY FORM OF COMPENSATION OR ROYALTY (OTHER THAN THE PRIZE STATED HEREIN IF SELECTED AS THE PRIZE WINNER IN EXCHANGE FOR GRANTING SPONSOR THE NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE RIGHTS OR FOR ANY SUBSEQUENT USE OF SUCH ENTRY BY SPONSOR. If requested, Entrant will sign any documentation that may be required for Sponsor or its designees to make use of the non-exclusive rights Entrant is granting to use the Entry.
4. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
5. Entry Limit. Limit one (1) entry per person and social media account. You may not use multiple means of entry (e.g., multiple social media accounts) to circumvent the entry limit. Duplicate Entries
or multiple Entries made by an Entrant in excess of the number allowed will be disqualified. Your Entry constitutes your consent to participate in this Sweepstakes and your consent for Sponsor to obtain and delivery your name, address and other information to the Sweepstakes Administrator for the purposes of administering this Sweepstakes.
6. One (1) Prize. One (1) Winner will receive two (2) round trip Business class airline tickets on Cathay Pacific between a major commercial international airport in the United States and Hong Kong (“Prize”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize: $17,205. The value of the Prize set forth above represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of the approximate retail value thereof, and the actual fair market value, as ultimately determined by Sponsor, is final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed. In the event the stated approximate retail value of the Prize is more than the actual fair market value of the Prize, the difference will not be awarded in cash or otherwise. There is no cash alternative for the Prize, in whole or in part. Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash compensation, refunds, or alternatives will be offered due to the winner’s inability to attend, claim, or use the Prize. If the advertised prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, a substitute prize of equal or greater value may be awarded in Sponsor’s sole discretion. In no event shall the Sponsor be obligated to award more prizes than the number of Prizes stated in these Official Rules. Limit one (1) Prize per household.
Prize Restrictions: Winner must redeem the Prize and book travel by October 31, 2026 and travel must be completed by July 17, 2027. Travel is subject to subject to certain other restrictions, including without limitation blackout dates, availability, capacity controls, and other restrictions. Prize winner is solely responsible for any and all expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the Prize description herein, including but not limited to, hotel accommodations and lodging, ground transportation between winner’s residence and airport of departure, ground transportation in Hong Kong, gratuities, souvenirs, insurance, travel upgrades, baggage fees, airline and airport surcharges, fees and taxes and personal incidentals. All Prize details not specified in the Official Rules will be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Winner is responsible for any air travel taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, and security charges. Once issued, airline tickets are nontransferable and may not be reissued. Travel arrangements must be made through Sweepstakes Partner and travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, availability and other Prize and travel restrictions. The actual value of the Prize may vary based on various factors, including fluctuations in price for airfare and distance between the point of departure and the destination. No changes to travel arrangements will be permitted once any element of the Prize is booked. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, or certificates once delivered to winner. Travel is subject to any additional terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and those set for by Sponsor’s air travel, availability may vary, and material restrictions may apply. Airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for upgrades, frequent flyer miles, or any other promotional benefit. No stopovers are permitted on Prize-related tickets; if a stopover occurs, any outstanding portions of the Prize will immediately terminate and winner will be charged the full fare for the remaining trip segment(s), including return travel. No refund or compensation will be made if a flight is canceled or delayed. Any unclaimed and/or unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited upon travel completion and will remain the property of Sponsor. Winner and Companion must be available to travel on the same itinerary and must possess valid identification and all necessary documents for International travel. Winner will not be awarded additional compensation if winner travels without an eligible Companion. Winner and his/her Companion must have a valid U.S. Passport in order to travel. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Partner shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers, such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Partner shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or other items. If the Winner is unable to or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the prize due to any reason, Sponsor and Sweepstakes Partner shall have the option at its sole discretion of being relieved of liability for fulfillment of the Prize award, and no other compensation in lieu of the
Prize will be awarded. All travel is subject to any and all restrictions instituted by the Department of Defense and/or Department of Homeland Security, The Centers for Disease Control and federal, state and local health departments, as required and if borders are closed due to COVID/any pandemic, Sponsor and Sweepstakes Partner are not responsible. All travelers must agree to abide by the latest travel guidelines/requirements at time of travel. All travelers must also pass any required medical testing (at their own expense) and comply with any additional requirements, at any time, that may be required or recommended by any government agency, Sweepstakes Partner, or Sponsor, including without limitation, passing one or more COVID-19 antigen and screening tests, and testing negative for COVID-19 or having been vaccinated against COVID-19. Travelers may also be required to execute any assumption of risk and/or other documents relating to COVID-19 or he/she may not be permitted to travel. Sponsor, Sweepstakes Partner and the Released Entities are not responsible for any theft, personal injury, illness and/or death that could take place when using the Prize, including but not limited to exposure to viruses associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and other communicable diseases. as required. 7. Winner Selection. Sponsor will use a computer-generated randomizer to select one (1) winner from the Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or about July 22, 2026 (the “Drawing Date”). If there is a dispute regarding the identity of the winner, the registered account holder of the social media account used to submit the winning Entry will be deemed the winner, subject to such owner’s compliance with the Official Rules.
8. Winner Notification and Acceptance Requirements. Sponsor will contact the winner via a direct message on the winner’s Instagram or TikTok account that was used at the time of Entry. Sponsor is not liable for a winner’s failure or inability to receive communications sent by Sponsor. To receive a Prize, the winner must: (a) respond to Sponsor within forty-eight (48) hours of initial contact; and (b) sign and return an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, IRS Form W-9, and liability and publicity release (together, “Winner Paperwork”) to Sponsor within five (5) business days of Sponsor’s delivery. A potential Prize Winner may be disqualified under any of the following circumstances; i) if he/she cannot be reached by Sponsor within the specified time period; ii) If the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable; iii) if the potential Prize Winner is found to be ineligible; iv) if the potential Prize Winner does not return the required Winner Paperwork within the required time period; v) if the potential Prize Winner is unwilling to accept the Prize as stated in these Official Rules; or vi) if the potential Prize Winner does not comply with these Official Rules. Prize Winner will be required to supply Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator with his/her social security number. The Prize Winner who receive a prize valued at two thousand dollars ($2,000) or more will be issued a FORM 1099-MISC for tax purposes as required by law. Prize Winner is solely responsible for any and all federal and applicable state taxes on the Prizes. By accepting the Prize, Prize Winner agrees to grant Sponsor the right, except where prohibited by law, to use his/her/their name, likeness, picture, address (city and state), e-mail address, voice, biographical information, hometown, testimonial, video, and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes, including social media purposes, in promoting or publicizing Sponsor, Sweepstakes Partner and their respective products or services in any media now known or hereinafter developed, worldwide, without compensation unless required by law in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize Winner shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of any use described herein, or Entry. Prize will be delivered within four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date Winner has been verified by Sponsor. Claims for non-receipt of the Prize by the winner will be void after ninety (90) days from date of Winner verification.
POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR AND/OR THE SWEEPSTAKES ADMINISTRATOR. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE SWEEPSTAKES SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY, AND THE POTENTIAL SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE WINNER HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FRAUDULENT CALLS OR EMAILS MADE TO THE ENTRANTS NOT BY SPONSOR OR SWEEPSTAKES ADMINISTRATOR OR FOR ANY CHANGE OF ENTRANT’S EMAIL ADDRESS OR MAILING ADDRESS.
9. General Terms. Sponsor may disqualify any individual or void any entry if the entrant corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. This includes, for example, the use of computer ‘script,’ ‘macro,’ or ‘brute force,’ masking identities by manipulating IP addresses, or using any automated means to enter the Sweepstakes. Sponsor may disqualify any individual or void any entry if the entrant uses a username or email address that belongs to or is already being used by another person, whether actual or fictitious, that may be interpreted as impersonating another person or violating the rights of any person. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected, untimely, or invalid entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending is not proof of delivery. Releasees (defined below) take no responsibility for delayed, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged, or lost entries due to technical reasons or otherwise. If the Sweepstakes cannot be run or be administered as planned, for reasons outside of Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) by posting a notice on the Sweepstakes entry page. Sponsor further reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Sweepstakes if Sponsor believes doing so is necessary to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes or fairness to entrants. Sponsor will not be liable for a delay or failure to perform its obligations if caused by an act, omission, event, or circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. This Sweepstakes is governed by New York law. By entering, you irrevocably consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York, New York for any dispute arising from or relating to this Sweepstakes.

You may unsubscribe from any email communication by clicking the “unsubscribe” (or similar) link at the bottom of any marketing email sent from Sponsor or Sweepstakes Partner, or by contacting such entity directly.
11. Risks; Warranties; Release of Claims. Your participation in the Sweepstakes is at your own risk. Releasees do not make, and hereby disclaim, all implied warranties of any kind relating to the Prize, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and noninfringement, or any representations regarding the function or operation of the Prize. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold the Sweepstakes Entities and their respective agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Releasees”) harmless from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage directly or indirectly relating to (i) the provision, hosting, sponsorship, administration, suspension, or cancellation of the Sweepstakes, (ii) a person’s ability or inability to enter or participate in the Sweepstakes, including those arising from technical failures, third-party telecommunication outages, or other force majeure events, (iii) any determination of disqualification or other decision made by Sponsor in its sole discretion, (iv) your ability to win, claim, or use a Prize, or to otherwise participate in any activity relating to the Sweepstakes, (v) the Prize itself, including use or misuse of a Prize, and/or (vi) electronic or human error, or events arising from the simple negligence of one or more Releasees. RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY. You acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and the Sweepstakes Partner’s privacy policies and understand them. You acknowledge and agree that this is a complete RELEASE and DISCHARGE of all claims and rights against the Releasees and that this release will be binding upon an entrant’s and winner’s heirs, executors, and administrators, and anyone claiming by or through an entrant or winner.
