    Your baggage allowance is listed on your e-ticket receipt and in Manage Booking. Alternatively, you may use the calculator below to check your baggage allowance.

    Note:

    • If you have upgraded to a higher cabin using Upgrade Bid, your baggage allowance is still based on your original ticket allowance.
    • If your ticket involves flights marketed or operated by other airlines, the cabin or check-in baggage allowance may differ.
      • For cabin baggage – please check with our partner airline for the cabin baggage allowance for your flight.
      • For check-in baggage –  please refer to our carrier rules for more details.

    Pre-flight checklist

    Place sharp items into checked baggage

    If you are carrying nail scissors, letter knives or anything sharp and pointed, you must place them into your checked baggage.

    Check your baggage for prohibited items and items with restrictions

    Depending on where you fly, certain items are restricted and prohibited entirely from being brought on board. For example, liquids, gases, and aerosols can only be brought on board in certain volumes. Visit Restricted items for more details.

    Limit the number of spare batteries you travel with

    Ensure that any spare batteries you travel with are stored properly in acceptable amounts in cabin baggage. Learn more about travelling with spare batteries.

    Be mindful of your baggage allowance

    Check in any bags too heavy to lift into the overhead compartments. Our cabin crew are unable to lift or carry bags for you.

    Travelling with musical instruments and sports equipment is possible, but please be aware that rules differ according to your route. You can also check in extra baggage for a small fee.
