This special exhibition presents nearly 150 spectacular treasures, primarily from the Palace Museum and the Palace of Versailles, and explores the fascinating encounters between China and France in science, technology, arts, culture, and philosophy during the seventeenth to the eighteenth centuries. This exhibition tells stories of the unique bonds between China and France forged by mutual admiration and respect for each other, which provided new incentives for skills, knowledge, and art forms. Together, peoples in China and France created a splendid chapter in the history of cultural exchanges among world civilisations.

Terms and conditions

The offer is provided to you by Cathay Pacific Airways Limited ("Cathay Pacific”) and West Kowloon Cultural District Authority ("WKCDA”).
The offer starts from 15 January 2025 00:00 to 31 March 2025 23:59 (both dates inclusive, Hong Kong time) ("Promotion Period”).
The offer is applicable to customers ("Eligible Customers") who purchase a flight ticket at www.cathaypacific.com with flights operated by Cathay originating from the Chinese Mainland to Hong Kong during the promotion period.
Eligible Customers shall be eligible for a 10% discount off the regular-priced General Admission Flex-entry ticket of the Hong Kong Palace Museum ("Eligible Ticket”).
Eligible Customers will be able to access the offer through their flight ticket confirmation email which Cathay Pacific will send to all Eligible Customers who have purchased flight tickets on its website. By clicking the promotion banner/ link in the said email, Eligible Customers will be redirected to the online booking bonus offer page on the Cathay Pacific website, then they can access to the dedicated promotion page to receive the offer for the purchases of Eligible Tickets by using the promotion code.
The offer is limited to the first 500 Eligible Tickets, on a first-come-first-served basis.
The promotion code shall only be valid during the Promotion Period and cannot be transferred. A maximum of 40 tickets are allowed to be purchased per transaction due to system restriction. There is no limit on number of transactions to be made by each Eligible Customer. The promotion code shall, however, be invalidated as soon as the applicable Eligible Tickets of the specific code are sold out.
The promotion code can only be used to purchase Eligible Ticket for admission in the calendar month of purchase and the following calendar month. For example, using the promotion code in December allows purchase for admission in December and January. No rescheduling is allowed after sucessful purchase. Eligible Ticket holder shall be entitled to a single entry within the selected admission month.
Purchase of Eligible Ticket are subject to the availability of the selected date. Cathay Pacific does not guarantee availability for any specific date requested.
Ticket will be only valid on the selected month or performance date stated on the e-ticket.
All Eligible Tickets must be used during the Promotion Period. Any unused and expired Eligible Tickets will not be re-issued, refunded nor extended.
Entry may be refused if any details on the Eligible Ticket have been omitted or altered or if the Eligible Ticket is damaged, defaced or otherwise mutilated, especially the QR code which must be scanned for admission. Cathay Pacific accepts no responsibility for lost ticket.
Eligible Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable either in whole or in part, for cash or for any other items.
The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts and special arrangement.
The offer is only valid for tickets purchases online with promotion code through the dedicated promotion page, but not applicable to mobile apps, ticketing counters, telephone booking hotlines and other ticket sales platforms.
Visitors aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above to enter the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Each Eligible Ticket is valid for one time admission only, regardless of age.
Eligible Customers must comply with the rules and regulations of the Hong Kong Palace Museum set out on the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s official website.
