Located less than 30 minutes away by high-speed train, the ‘Venice of the East, as Suzhou is affectionately known, is home to many memorable sights and experiences. We recommend taking a stroll through Old Town, which is renowned for its beautiful waterways, or going on a gondola ride. From there, explore one of over 60 classical Chinese gardens, with one of the most famous ones being the Humble Administrator’s Garden as it dates back to the Ming Dynasty. While here, be sure to visit the breathtaking pavilions, which sit right beside shimmering ponds.
