You can book coach ticket 7 days and 3 hours before Cathay’s flight departure from Hong Kong and 1 hour to 7 days after Cathay’s flight arrival Hong Kong. We suggest you pay attention to the reminders displayed after selecting the station to reserve enough time for the flight connection. EE Bus offers coach service for up to 1 to 3 months in advance on various routes, please refer to the available schedule displayed in the system.
Currently Cathay Pacific’s WeChat mini-program offers the cross-boundary coach service between Guangdong Province and Hong Kong International airport provided by EE Bus only. If you are holding First Class, Business Class flight tickets to destinations other than Chinese Mainland or Premium Economy, Economy Flex and Essential tickets to Europe, North America, South West Pacific and Israel and do not find a suitable stop among the available cities or stations, you can select the other cities and stations by going to “Air+Land (CTG & Trans-island Chinalink)”. Once redeemed, you will no longer be able to buy or rebook any services provided by EE Bus.
You can buy coach ticket for yourself and the companions in the same booking order. One passenger can buy one coach ticket only for each direction.
You can book coach ticket for child or infant at the same as booking adult tickets. On the routes between Hong Kong International Airport and Shenzhen Bay, Shenzhen Kinkey Banner, Shenzhen Huanggang, Shenzhen Liantang and Shenzhen Guangyin Building, passengers do not need to purchase coach tickets for infants who do not occupy a seat. Please refer to the system display for the definitive information.
If WeChat mini-program fail to issue coach ticket, the whole booking will be turned to “Fail to issue” or “Cancelled”, we will process the refund request within 10 calendar days. You may try to purchase the coach ticket again later, please stop the booking if the system fails to issue tickets twice.
The baggage allowance for each passenger is one piece only, the maximum size is 55cm x 45cm x 20cm, maximum weigh is 10kg. For hand baggage, the maximum size is 37.5cm x 25cm x 15cm. The bus company reserve the right to request passenger pay for the extra baggage, please check the details at EE Bus official website and WeChat official account (永东直通巴士).
In general, EE Bus coach ticket is not allowed to refund within 24 hours before departure, you can cancel the coach booking within 24 hours but no refund for the ticket will be given. In the event of Cathay Pacific flight cancellation or delay, or cross-boundary coach cancellation, you can apply for a refund through WeChat mini-program or the Bus Ticket Refund Form on Cathay Pacific official website. We will check the request details and fully refund the ticket amount to your original payment account within 10 calendar days after receiving the application.
Due to the system limitation, the coach ticket rebooking process is to refund the original ticket and issue a new ticket. The rebooking fee is same with the refund charge. We are optimizing the system for a more convenient service.
o It means that your coach ticket refund application has not been submitted successfully. You can check if the ticket has been used firstly, if you have submitted a refund application repeatedly, or if the application was submitted more than 90 days after the original departure date. If none of the above situation apply, please try to submit refund again later through WeChat mini-program or the Bus Ticket Refund Form on Cathay Pacific official website. If it still display “Fail to refund”, please report the error code displayed by the system by contacting Customer Care 400 815 2888.
The refund fee is RMB 30. If the coach ticket price is lower than RMB 30 (such as infant ticket), the refund fee would be same as the ticket price and no amount could be refunded.
WeChat mini-program would display the refund details if you submit coach ticket refund more than 24 hours before departure. It cannot display the refund details if you submit refund details if you submit coach ticket refund within 24 hours before departure. We will fully refund the coach ticket if your Cathay’s flight is cancelled or delayed or coach is cancelled. Otherwise, we will reject the refund request. We apologize that we are currently unable to send email notification for the refund failures due to system limitations. We are working on optimizing the email notification feature.
You can contact Cathay Pacific Customer Care (400 815 2888), provide the air ticket number, cross-boundary coach ticket number and refund submission date and time for us to check the records.
Yes, you need to process the air ticket and coach ticket refund respectively. Please submit the coach ticket refund via Cathay Pacific WeChat mini-program – My Order – Coach Ticket – Ticket details.
Please check if your ticket has been rebooked previously, if yes, your ticket is valid for rebook once only. Please cancel the coach ticket if you are no longer to use it.
The EE Bus coach ticket is not allowed to change or refund within 24 hours before coach departure. You can purchase new ticket at EE Bus official ticketing platform or standby the EE Bus at the same route on the original coach departure day, seat is subject to availability. You should rebook the coach ticket one by one, since child or infant is not allowed to travel alone, you should cancel the child or infant coach ticket together with adult coach ticket and purchase the new tickets. When you process coach ticket refund, please refund the child or infant ticket before refunding the adult ticket.

You can standby the cross-boundary coach on the original departure day, the seat is supplied by first-come first-served basis. If you would like to change to other departure day, please apply for the involuntary refund and buy a new coach ticket.
Coach ticket will be generated after air ticket issuance. You can find the coach ticket details and ticket QR code in “My Order”.
The actual carrier, that is, the cross-boundary coach service provider, is responsible for the legal liabilities during the cross-boundary coach service process.
