These Terms and Conditions apply to the "World of Winners" Ticket Giveaway campaign:

  • The Prize will be awarded to the lucky 4,260 entrants.
  • Each Entrant is eligible to submit ONE (1) entry only.
  • Winners will be liable for any taxes and surcharges applicable to the ticket.
  • Travel blackout period applies.
  • Cathay Pacific reserves the right to amend or cancel these terms and conditions at any point during the campaign period.
  • By registering or taking part in this campaign, each Entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

All flight tickets are sponsored by Hong Kong International Airport’s “World of Winners" Ticket Giveaway campaign.

To participate in the campaign, you must be a resident of India aged 18 years old and above at the time of participation. You must also be a Cathay member. If you are not already a member, you may sign up for free here.

Eligible participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of participation.

One Cathay Pacific Economy Class round-trip ticket from India to Hong Kong, excluding taxes and surcharges. There are altogether 4,260 prizes.

The campaign will start on 22 May 2023 at 12:00 (IST) and end on 28 May 2023 at 23:59 (IST)

You will need to be a Cathay member to participate in the campaign. Visit the campaign website during the campaign period and sign in with your Cathay membership details (Cathay membership number, verified mobile number, or verified email address).

Each entrant is eligible to submit one entry only. The prize will be awarded as lucky draw to 4,260 entrants.

If you are not already a member, you may sign up for free here before registering for the campaign.

You shall receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. 

Once the campaign registration form is submitted, you will not be able to change any registration information including the name and email address. Any incorrect or incomplete information may result in disqualification.

The winners will be announced on the campaign website on 7June 2023. The winner announcement will display the entrant’s family name and the first characters of their given name, the first two characters and last character of the local-part of their email address(i.e. G** D** Hong, ab***g@domain.com) 

A notification will also be sent to the individual winners on 7 June 2023 via the email provided at registration.

If, for any reason, the email to a winner bounces back or is otherwise undeliverable, or is not replied to within the period of time stated in the email, eligibility to receive a prize may be forfeited.

Once the redemption period begins, winners will receive a unique ticket redemption code via email, along with applicable terms and conditions. Each winner is required to redeem the prize in accordance with processes stated in the Redemption Code Email and according to the instructions provided by Cathay Pacific.

Each ticket redemption code is not refundable or redeemable for cash or any other item.

Yes, the ticket redemption code must be used within 1 month of the date of the Redemption Code Email. Otherwise, you will forfeit your prize tickets. Tickets are valid for 9 months from the issue date of the Redemption Code Email. Blackout period applies.

Each winner must decide all flights and dates of their tickets at the time of booking. The minimum stay period for the ticket is 2 days, and the maximum stay period for the ticket is 7 days. Travel blackout period applies.

Winners will be liable for all taxes and surcharges applicable to the tickets.  

No, all tickets once booked are non-reroutable. Upgrade of travel class via cash or any frequent flyer mileage is also not possible.

Each ticket redemption code can only be used to book ONE (1) round-trip ticket from India to Hong Kong, and is only applicable to flights operated by Cathay Pacific. Each itinerary will originate and end in India.

No, each ticket redemption code is only valid for the winner to whom it is intended to be sent, and for a one-time usage. All prize tickets are non-transferable. 

Rebooking of the travel date is subject to a rebooking fee of INR12,578.

Winners who fail to show up for their flight will be treated as forfeiting the prize. Tickets are non-refundable and further rebooking is not allowed.

The ticket redemption code only applies to tickets booked online through the campaign ticket redemption page shared in the Redemption Code Email and is not compatible with bookings made through agents or the Global Customer Centre.
